Spatiotemporal Variations in Light Precipitation Events in the Yellow River Basin, China, and Relationships with Large-Scale Atmospheric Circulation Patterns

چکیده
Light precipitation events are an essential feature of rainfall for agricultural production, risk prediction drought or flood disasters, and natural resource management in a certain area. We investigated the spatiotemporal variations light with intensities 0.1–10 mm/day, based on daily data Yellow River Basin (YRB), China, during 1960–2018, explored their relationships large-scale atmospheric circulation patterns (LSACPs) altitude. For further analysis changes events, we classified rain (0.1 ≤ P < 10.0 mm/day) into five grades intensity by using equal interval division. Results indicate that mean annual amount days were 182.7 mm 80 days, respectively, from 1960 to 2018 over YRB, accounting 39.2% 85.2% total respectively. Both number declined −1.3 mm/decade −1.4 days/decade, suggested most low 2.0 mm/day). mainly occurred upper middle reaches YRB decreased southwest north. Additionally, appear be complex possibly related LSACPs found possible mechanism past decades. With increasing elevation, significantly throughout study period. Thus, decrease at lower altitudes YRB. The results also reflect complexity regional climate change because phenomena not only causes variation but its altitude dependence.

متن کاملAltered Precipitation and Flow Patterns in the Dunajec River Basin
This study analyzes changes in long-term patterns of precipitation and river flow, as well as changes in their variability over the most recent 60 years (1956–2015). The study area is situated in the mountain basin of the Dunajec River, encompassing streams draining the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland. The focus of the study was to evaluate how regional warming translates into precipitation ...
متن کاملObserved trends in extreme precipitation events in China during 1961–2001 and the associated changes in large-scale circulation
[1] The observed trends in extreme precipitation events, and those in annual and seasonal mean precipitation in China during 1961–2001 are analyzed. The results show that the annual mean precipitation increases significantly in southwest, northwest, and east China, and decreases significantly in central, north and northeast China. The increasing trends in east China occurred mainly in summer, w...

although there are studies on pragmatic assessment, to date, literature has been almost silent about native and non-native english raters’ criteria for the assessment of efl learners’ pragmatic performance. focusing on this topic, this study pursued four purposes. the first one was to find criteria for rating the speech acts of apology and refusal in l2 by native and non-native english teachers...
